By now it might be pretty obvious: we’re obsessed with Anna Kaiser, founder of AKT (the Anna Kaiser technique), and we’re happy to report that she’s hosting the ultimate fitness retreat in beautiful Ojai, California this October 18-23.
Anna’s classes are famous for their blend of dance, HIIT, kickboxing, yoga, plyometrics, and strength training, and they’re the antidote for any bored, trend-based, painfully repetitive routine you’re currently following. That’s because they’re fun. In other words, Anna’s long weekend in Ojai is the perfect re-set, workout, and retreat—all in one.
The getaway, which happens at the luxe Ojai Valley Inn & Spa (picture a cluster of casitas along lavender and rose garden-lined paths), will feature farm-to-table meals (oh hey, Cali produce), daily AKT workouts, and a staggering range of other activities. The spa is just outside the untouched Los Padres national forest for exceptional hiking, horseback riding, or bike rides. If your idea of a post-workout relax sesh is a little lower-key, there are silk scarf painting classes and apothecary workshops to choose from. And because a trip to Cali isn’t complete without some wine tasting, there will be both wine and olive oil tastings—plus art classes with a little wine on the side. Oh, and gorgeous sparkling pools for all the lounging you can handle.
