Debra Wattenberg, MD

Dr. Debra Wattenberg specializes in cosmetic dermatology at her boutique Upper East Side clinic, NY Skin RX. As a consultant and a clinician, Dr. Wattenberg has established an esteemed reputation in the field of anti-aging dermatology. Her practice focuses on complete skincare. She employs a multi-disciplinary approach; designing personalized treatment regimens that incorporate traditional, topical treatment with established and cutting edge injection and laser techniques. She is also a member of the Charlotte’s Book Advisory Board, helping to curate The Arsenal and translate medical jargon, new skincare, wellness, and anti-aging innovations for our readers.

Throughout her career, Dr. Wattenberg has held consulting positions with some of the world’s leading cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies. In the past, she was a member of Proctor and Gamble’s Dove Advisory Council. She has also acted as a consultant for the cosmetic institutions: Medicis, Allergan, and La Roche Posay. Dr. Wattenberg regularly appears on national television, such as “The Today Show” and CNN, speaking as an authority on anti-aging and general skincare. Along with her clinical practice, Dr. Wattenberg currently instructs students at her alma mater, Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Chief Surgical Attending for residents at the Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition to holding membership with the American Academy of Dermatology and New York affiliated medical societies, she is the active Vice President of Scientific Affairs of the Oxalosis and Hyperoxaluria Foundation.
