Julie Russak, MD

Julie Russak, MD specializes in cosmetic and general dermatology, dermatological surgery, and laser surgery at her private practice, Russak Dermatology Clinic. Her clinic offers treatments for a wide array of medical conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, as well as the latest in cosmetic treatments, including injectables, various laser treatments, body contouring and other non-invasive rejuvenation procedures. Dr. Russak also has an aesthetician on staff for medical facials and dermaplaning. In addition to offering the latest in cosmetic technologies, such as Clear+Brilliant, Ultherapy, and CoolSculpting, Dr. Russak is one of the few doctors in New York trained and practicing with the MelaFind, a new non-invasive FDA approved medical device that is able to identify melanoma in its most curable stage.

Dr. Russak received numerous honors and distinctions throughout her academic career, during which she attended New York University School of Medicine and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. After completing a fellowship in Oncology Melanoma with the respected Dr. Darrell Rigel, she was invited to join the practice as a clinician. She continued at Dr. Rigel’s practice until founding her current practice, which has already gained an extremely loyal following of patients.

In addition to her extensive research in the areas of Cutaneous Oncology, Dr. Russak has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and authored a chapter for one of the most prominent skin cancer textbooks in the field. Extending her academic prowess forward, she serves as Clinical Faculty at the Mount Sinai Hospital, where she teaches Dermatology Residents and Medical Students.

Dr. Russak sees patients at her Midtown East practice, her consultation fee is $250 and can be applied to future treatments. Dr. Russak carries several skincare product lines including SkinMedica, Revision Skincare, and SkinCeuticals.
