Meredith Geller, HHC, is a holistic nutrition and lifestyle consultant. She educates clients on the transformative power of using food as medicine. Meredith works as a private consultant in addition to consulting at reputable holistic centers throughout Manhattan. Currently, Meredith is a part of the comprehensive wellness team at the Piper Center for Internal Wellness in SoHo, and works independently throughout New York City.
Meredith’s primary specialty is deep tissue cleansing and detoxification, raw alive food, and fresh juicing. She formulates customized cleansing regimens and through a series of consultations, Meredith educates her clients on strategies for incorporating cleansing elements, juicing, and raw food into the diet, while also utilizing (preferably) organic, whole, cooked “cleaner” vegan + non-vegan food options. Through working with Meredith, clients learn the basics about nutrition: how to eat, what to eat, when to eat, and why and provides simple tips for incorporating this knowledge in day-to-day life. She also formulates customized cleansing regimens for her clients.
Meredith meets the client at whatever level of health they are currently at and works from there for exceptional results. Her prescription is clear: remove toxins from the body and the entire being will elevate. She is known for her twelve session ALIVE program, a truly holistic program based on physical, emotional and spiritual aspects.
Meredith works with chefs and industry leaders, consulting on nutrition and holistic living for strategy and product development. She also works with private chefs teaching new techniques in creating healthier meals while using innovative ingredients, implements menu planning, and pantry curating in stocking the kitchen properly.
From 2007-2009, Meredith worked with the ever-expanding brand Organic Avenue; she supported patrons on all levels of the L.O.V.E. Cleansing Program, advised clients on strategies for sustaining a healthy lifestyle, helped the company create new cleanses, and organized nutrition-based events to make healthier lifestyle information accessible to all. Meredith most recently collaborated with the owner of the Nolita restaurant and juice bar, The Butcher’s Daughter, to develop an original cleansing program.
Meredith Geller, HHC, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and is board certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner by both the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute. She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the only school of its kind incorporating over 100 dietary theories into the curriculum, including Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, where she studied with the world’s prominent health and wellness experts including: Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, pioneer in the field of mind/body medicine and co-founder of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing; Dr. AnneMarie Colbin, founder of the Natural Gourmet Institute; Marion Nestle, Ph.D. Professor of Nutrition at New York University; Dr. Walter Willet, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; and David Wolfe, raw food leader and nutrition expert.
