Plastic Surgery Network App on Apple TV

You Can Watch Plastic Surgery Before & Afters On Apple TV

November 16, 2017

If you’re planning a cosmetic procedure (or at least considering one), you can’t be too informed. It can be a big decision, and you want to make sure you’re choosing the right surgeon, that you know what to expect pre- and post-procedure, and that you’re well-armed with all the information you need.

Well now you can get all that info right on your Apple TV. The new Plastic Surgery Network (PSN) app offers a new, interactive way to explore expert content about cosmetic procedures from surgeons—right in your home. You can watch videos, read articles, listen to podcasts, ask questions, see before and after animations, and more. Maybe check it out after Stranger Things?

According to Forbes, this app is “the first and only proficient, content-driven on-demand television channel for plastic surgeons, cosmetic authorities, and the beauty industry to share their prowess and online-generated composition.”

PSN experts are able to stream their content directly, so you can get info from your couch. The creators of the app are also working on new components that will incorporate Augmented and Virtual Reality, which they plan to introduce within the next year. This means that soon you’ll be able to enter a virtual consultation room from the comfort of your own living room.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Gordon Kaplan told Forbes that he’s already signed up and is bullish on the app’s potential. Kaplan believes PSN will create a new tier of clients for his practice, stating “Apple TV users do tend to be higher earners who are more interested in aesthetics…PSN could easily create a new segment for the industry.”

The PSN hopes to create a space with an open dialogue between experts and potential patients. The app also highlights the newest technologies and science that are at your disposal. And it rates surgeons based on the procedures you’re interested in, plus the results you’re looking for.
