It’s summertime, and that means lots of sunshine (and sun protection, of course). Just because you’re staying in the shade as much as possible and wearing sunscreen and hats, though, doesn’t mean you can’t have that sun-kissed summer glow. Drunk Elephant recently introduced its D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Serum, a concentrated sheer bronzer that’s basically sunshine in a bottle—without the damage. Trust me: I hate bronzers, and this is a bronzer for people who are terrified of bronzers. I strongly encourage you to keep reading because you need this product. And you know we don’t recommend products lightly.
D-Bronzi is a mixer, meaning you add a couple of drops to your serum, moisturizer, or sunscreen for a natural-looking glow. And you can use it on your face, chest, or anywhere else on your body that could use a touch of bronze. I love the product. It’s a self-tanning game-changer on many levels. I never buy any self-tanning products, to be honest, because I’m scared of an orange glow. The closest I’ll get is a powder bronzer. MAC Bronzing Powder has been in my vanity since my early 20s, of course. And until now, the only liquid bronzer I had was Giorgio Armani Maestro Bronzer. But I mixed a touch of D-Bronzi into my moisturizer and it was perfect—an extra tan glow-booster that looked real and sun-kissed. Giorgio Armani, you finally have a contender.
Sure, D-Bronzi will have you looking like you’ve been tanning at the beach. But because it’s Drunk Elephant, you know there are lots of skin benefits as well. The serum is vitamin and oxidant-rich and has supportive fatty acids that protect skin from free radicals. Platinum peptides promote elasticity and cocoa powder adds an infusion of skin-helping polyphenols. Plus, ingredients like virgin marula oil, black currant seed oil, and white tea extract nourish and hydrate the skin.
What you won’t find in the bronzer? Like all Drunk Elephant products, there aren’t any silicones, chemical screens, colorants, or fragrances. So do yourself a favor and treat your skin with this protective, shimmering bronzer. And go be a glowing bronze goddess this summer without hurting your skin.
