Golden Globes Beauty: 30 Products That Made The Stars Shine

Red Carpet season has officially begun! Now we can oooh and ahh at all the pretty gowns, gasp at fashion fails and dig up new beauty tips to get that Hollywood glow. As any celebrity makeup artist will tell you, gorgeous, radiant skin is the foundation for any beauty look. Luckily, we have the inside scoop straight from the makeup artists who made our favorite stars shine.

Amy Adams "I prepped Amy’s skin with Chanel Sublimage La Crème Texture Suprême, $390. This is the most luxurious cream you will ever feel. Important on a day like today, when the skin is just as important as eyes and lips," says makeup artist Stephen Sollitto. He also used a damp sponge to apply Chanel Les Beiges All-in-One Healthy Glow Fluid SPF 15, $45, all over, then used his finger to tap Chanel Limited Edition Camélia de Plumes Highlighting Powder, $72, on the tops of Adam's cheekbones and the bridge of her nose.

Amy Poehler Our favorite funny girl and Golden Globes presenter is a fan of the Hydrafacial MD, a 30 minute treatment that uses a patented vortex fusion technology that acts as both a physical and chemical peel while infusing your skin with moisturizers and antioxidants, creating a glowing, flawless look. Gina Rodriguez Makeup artist Jenna Anton was inspired to bring out the essence of Gina’s personality, which she described as, “fun, flirty and comfortable in her own skin.” First, Jenna used a combination of L’Oréal Paris Youth Code Pore Vanisher, $21, and L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur, $21, to prep Gina’s skin for a smooth finish. She then applied L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Blush, $13, on the apple of her cheeks and layered on L’Oréal Paris True Match Blush, $10, over the crème blush. Tip: When applying blush, create a backwards ‘C’ starting from the ear and moving towards the apple of the cheek and back.

Ruth Wilson Makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen wiped Ruth's skin down with Simple Skincare Micellar Cleansing Water for a gentle cleanse and boost of hydration, with special attention around the t-zone. "Micellar Water is so popular abroad; it’s awesome to have a drugstore version here in the States!" says Reiss-Anderson. Next, she massaged Simple Skincare Nourishing 24 HR Day/Night Moisturizer, $10, into Ruth's skin to hydrate and prime for makeup. She used illuminating Giorgio Armani Maestro Eraser in #3, $42, under the eyes and then applied Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #5, $62, to even out the complexion.

Leslie Mann Makeup artist Jillian Dempsey started by applying Elizabeth Arden Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Eye Gel, $40, around the eyes, paying special attention to the delicate areas underneath her lower lash line. Then, she used Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel Multi Use Illuminating Base, $45, to serve as a primer for Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Perfectly Satin 24hr Foundation in Soft Shell, $38.50. She concealed any uneven tones and boosted skin's brightness with Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Correcting and Highlighting Perfector in Shade 2, $28.

Robin Wright "I started out by prepping her skin with Orlane Brightening Micellar Water, $85, which is really great to cleanse the skin and it is also really hydrating," says celebrity makeup artist Tricia Sawyer. "Then I used three pumps of the Orlane Anti-Aging Oxygenation System, $550, and applied it to her face and neck.  I’m a huge fan of this product and use it on my clients AND myself. What it does for the texture and tone of the skin is just amazing! The more hydrated the skin, the less the skin tries to absorb the makeup," she said.

Reese Witherspoon Makeup artist Molly R. Stern first applied Caudalie Eau De Beauté Elixer, $49, to invigorate Witherspoon’s skin. Next, she massaged RéVive Serum Pressé Illuminating Skin Firmer, $310, to give her complexion a natural, luminous and smooth base. She lightly applied RèVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream Retexturizing Hydrator, $195, for added hydration. Stern then applied the new Laura Mercier Silk Crème Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation in Cream Ivory, $48 (April 2015), to ensure Witherspoon’s complexion looked clean and bright.

 Emily Blunt "I first prepped her skin using Kiehls' Ultra Facial Cream,$26.50, Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, $28.50, and Micro-Blur Skin Perfector, $35," says makeup artist Jenn Streicher. She then used Diorskin Star Concealer in #001, $36, and Diorskin Star Foundation in Light Beige #020, $50, to even out her skin tone for a flawless finish. To give her a radiant glow, she used Diorblush Vibrant Color Powder Blush  in Cocktail Peach #553, $43, and Diorskin Nude Tan Matte Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Matte Amber #002, $52.
