I'd Buy It Again: Kosås Creme Blush Is Perfect For That “Lit From Within” Cheeky Glow
In our line of work, we try a lot of products: that means we know what we love, and why. I'd Buy It Again is a quick and dirty way to tell you about something we’ve tried and all the reasons we love it. These are never sponsored posts—only honest opinions inspired by our obsessions. This time around, we're talking about the Kosås Color & Light Creme Blush and Illuminator.
WHAT IS IT?
Ever want that perfect “I just worked out” cheeky glow? That's what you get with this perfect cream blush, appropriately named “Color & Light.” Each palette is paired with a light-reflective highlighter, a combination that provides skin with a sheer wash of natural and radiant color.
WHAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE?
Buy it. You need it. Nothing picks you up like a perfect, natural-looking rosy cheek. And these lightly creamy blush tints are enhanced with nourishing face oils including marula, rosehip seed, grape seed, green tea, and myrrh. They don’t look blotchy or fake. They just glide on, so even a novice can swipe them on and look like a pro.
WHO'S IT FOR?
It's suitable for all skin types—even oily, acne prone skin like mine. Even though I have oily skin, I don’t love powdered blushes because they can look cakey and unnatural. So this is perfect for me.
WHAT’S THE STORY?
Sheena Yaitanes founded Kosås in 2015. Each Kosås formula is brought to life with active botanicals balanced by strategic, safe synthetics. The products are edited down to be natural modern essentials. We also love their lipstick, which is formulated with hydrating and anti-aging super ingredients.
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The blush contains (among other ingredients): apricot kernel oil, marula seed oil, rice bran extract, grape seed oil, jojoba seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, and rosemary leaf extract.

HOW DOES IT SMELL?
There's no scent.
HOW DO I USE IT?
I blend it seamlessly onto my cheeks.
HOW LONG DID I TEST IT FOR?
Two weeks and still going.
ANY DRAWBACKS?
Nope!
WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?
Absolutely!
WHERE CAN YOU BUY IT?
You can buy it at Violet Grey, $34.
